Mark is from Fayetteville, NC and is a graduate of both 71st High School and the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. He has been working at LaFayette since 1986 and recently became the President and Co-Owner of the company. Mark is very active in his community and is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Fayetteville, Salem United Methodist Church, and helps fundraise for a wide variety of local charities and organizations. Growing up in a military family gave Mark a deep appreciation for our armed forces and veterans and he strives to give back to them in any way he can. He is a member of the Military Affairs Council through the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce and supports many events for Fort Bragg Morale, Welfare and Recreation, the USO, Braxton Bragg, the local VFW, and the Airborne and Special Operations Museum. Mark is an active member of the New Car Dealers Association where he serves on the Finance Committee. He also sits on the board for the North Carolina Automobile Dealers Association as well as the Advertising Board for the Carolina Ford Dealers Advertising Fund, where he currently serves as Chairman of the Digital Marketing Committee. Mark also served on the National Dealer Council for 3 years. He is the liaison between Ford Motor Company and Fayetteville Technical Community College and was instrumental in bringing the Maintenance and Light Repair curriculum from Ford to the FTCC campus. This program provides students, and especially military veterans, the opportunity to learn a new trade in the automotive industry and helps them secure jobs upon completion of the program.
